Arturo Ortiz, age 83 of West Roxbury, formerly of Gurabo, Puerto Rico passed away on July 13, 2016. Beloved husband of Carmen Ortiz. Devoted father of Luis Angel Ortiz, Arturo Ortiz Jr., Carmen Ortiz, Marisa Ortiz, Annette Ortiz , Maria Rosario, Jacqueline Rosario and Jose Rosario. Brother of Rafael Ortiz and Isabel Ortiz. An avid dominos player and lover of pistachio ice cream, Arturo most enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren, always filling the room with contagious laughter. He will be missed but lives on in the memories and hearts of those who loved him. Visiting hours will be held at the Brady & Fallon Funeral Home 10 Tower St. (Opp. Forest Hills MBTA Station) Jamaica Plain on Tuesday, July 19 from 6-9 PM. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Our Lady of Lourdes Church, 14 Montebello Rd. Jamaica Plain on Wednesday, July 20 at 10 AM. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery, Hyde Park.
