Obituary

Richard F. McFadden, 93, of Pendleton died on July 14, 2016 at Brookdale Fall Creek in Indianapolis following a brief illness.

He was born on September 27, 1922 in Ridgeville, IN to Emmett Richard and Olive Eulelia (Bisel) McFadden.

He was a 1940 graduate of Anderson High School. He served in the US Army at Los Alamos where he was a Staff Sergeant during World War II.

He was employed in Hourly Payroll at Guide Lamp for 38 years and retired in 1978.
He liked to read, watch TV, listen to music, travel, collect stamps and play cards.

He is survived by his daughter, Julie (husband, Dr. John) Eble of Indianapolis; a son, Brian (wife, Liane) McFadden of Valencia, CA; 3 grandchildren, Megan Lindsley of Broad Ripple and Matt Lindsley of Muncie and Renee McFadden of Valencia, CA; niece, Connie Sizemore of Anderson; a nephew, Robert (wife, Lori) Dickey of Middletown; a cousin, Robert McFadden of Westchester, OH, and several great nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and his wife, Wilda (Baines) McFadden.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00am on Tuesday, July 19, 2016 at Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service with Rev. Jerrell Simmerman officiating. Burial will take place at Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery. Military graveside rites will be conducted at the cemetery.

Visitation will be held on Monday, July 18, 2016 from 5:00pm to 8:00pm at the funeral home.
