Obituary

Clifford Joseph Domingue, 75, of Tifton passed away Tuesday, July 12, 2016, at Tift Regional Medical Center. His funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, July 15, 2016, at Wayside Baptist Church in Tifton with Rev. Josh Campbell officiating. Bruce Stephens will give a eulogy. Mr. Domingue will be laid to rest at Wayside Baptist Church Cemetery in Tifton. The family will receive friends Thursday, July 14, 2016, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals.

Hal McMillan, David Willis, Donnie Willis, Timmy Sparrow, Coy Tawzer, Harmon Tawzer Jr. and Bill Turnmire will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Billy Spicer, James Weldon, Carl Ray and Shane Tawzer.

Born June 5, 1941 in Carencro, Louisiana, Mr. Domingue was the son of the late Lollie A. Domingue and Odile Trahan Domingue. He was also preceded in death by a brother, Johnny Domingue. He retired from J. P. Stevens and was an active member of Wayside Baptist Church in Tifton. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps. He dearly loved his family, especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Mr. Domingue is survived by his wife, Debbie Tawzer Domingue of Tifton; two sons and daughters-in-law, Timmy and Jill Domingue and Randy and Susan Domingue, all of Tifton; two daughters and sons-in-law, Ashley and Jeffrey Robbins of Savannah and Christie and Brian Bailey of Tifton; a brother, Donald Domingue of Louisiana; a sister, Verna Fritz of Louisiana; ten grandchildren, Casey Domingue, Reed Domingue, Chelsea Goddard, Ty Domingue, Gauge Domingue, Leslie Bailey, Adam Bailey, Justin Bailey, Kaycee Bailey and Jeffrey Robbins; and three great-grandchildren, Jason Goddard, Ellie Grace Goddard and Ramsey Domingue.
