Obituary

BRIDGEWATER - Stephen W. “Willie” Tuholski, 89, of Bridgewater died Tuesday, July 19, 2005 at Northeast Specialty Hospital in Stoughton, after a brief illness. He was the husband of the late Anne (Rohacewicz) Tuholski.

A lifelong resident of Bridgewater, he was the son of the late Walter and Sophie Tuholski.

Mr. Tuholski was a graduate of Bridgewater Academy High School, where he played on a number of championship football and baseball teams.

He was also active in softball leagues in Bridgewater.

Mr. Tuholski served in the U.S. Army and was a veteran of World War II.

He was retired from the Town of Bridgewater on the highway department, where he worked for 20 years.

Prior to that, Mr. Tuholski was a truck driver for the Teamsters Union.

He was an avid fisherman and boater out of Plymouth Harbor and was a Red Sox and Patriots fan. He also enjoyed photography.
He is survived by his children, Marie Record of Boylston, John Tuholski and Elizabeth Pickett, both of Bridgewater; his siblings, Ada Cameron of Bourne, and Edmund Tuholski of Bridgewater; his grandchildren, Stephen Tuholski, Michael, Brian and Juilanna Record, Pamela Goff and Joanna Fellone; and several nieces and nephews. he was also brother to the late Victoria, John, Walter, Arthur, and Raymond.

His funeral will be held from the Prophett Funeral Home, 98 Bedford St. (Rte. 18), Bridgewater, Saturday at 8:15 am., followed by a funeral Mass in St. Thomas Aquinas Church, Bridgewater, at 9 am. Burial will be in St. Thomas Aquinas Cemetery.
