Timothy P. Tilton, 44, of Blackstone, formerly of Franklin died unexpectedly July 9. He was the husband of Lori (Benford) Tilton.
Born in Norwood, September 4, 1971, the son of Daniel J. and Maureen J. (Kelter) Tilton of Westwood, Mr. Tilton was raised in Franklin and had lived in Blackstone for the past 10 years.
Mr. Tilton was a 1989 graduate of Tri County High School.
Timothy had been an EMT for the past 8 years and has worked for the Town of Millville for the past 2 years. He had recently graduated from the Fire Academy and was appointed to the Millville Fire Department.
He was a member of the Franklin Lodge of Elks and had been an instructor at the METCA Academy in Shrewsbury.
Timothy enjoyed watching the Dallas Cowboys, his Mantown, hanging out at the Fire Station and above all else his wife and kids, family, his home and his pugs.
In addition to his wife and parents he is survived by his daughters, Luci and Sophia and his step daughter Brittany.
He is also survived by his brothers, Daniel Tilton of Mansfield, Paul Tilton of Franklin, James Tilton of Millville and Christopher Tilton of Oakley, California.
He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
His funeral will be held on Friday, July 15 from the Ginley Funeral Home of Franklin (www.ginleyfuneralhomes.com) 131 Main Street, Franklin at 9:15 followed by a funeral mass in St. Mary’s Church at 10:00. Burial will be private.
Calling hours will be on Thursday from 4-8 p.m.
