Obituary

Edward Charles Robery, 75, of Bellingham, formerly of Watertown and Boston passed away suddenly, Sunday, July 10, 2016 in the Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital in Needham. He was the beloved husband of Barbara (Mulcahy) Robery for 30 years.

Born on February 7, 1941 in Boston, he was the son of the late Charles E. and Eugenia M. (Pranskunas) Robery. Ed was raised in the Jamaica Plain section of Boston and had lived in Watertown before moving to Bellingham in 1987.

Before his retirement Mr. Robery had worked as a Buyer for Shaws Engineering, Badger Engineering, and Stone and Webster.

Ed was a proud Veteran of the Air Force and was a member of American Legion in Franklin.

Ed was an avid Red Sox fan and Donald Trump supporter. He was also a member of a Karaoke group that would travel to local bars several times a week. Ed loved Karaoke and his friends in the group were like a second family.

Besides his wife he is survived by his two sons, Stephen and his wife Katie of Ashland and James and his girlfriend Stacy of Malden.

He is also survived by his grandson Nicolas, his brother Richard and his wife Anne of Weymouth and his two best friends, William (Bill) McGarry and John Sturgeon. He also leaves behind many beloved nieces and nephews along with his dog Colby. He was the brother of the late Robert Robery and Gloria Cunniff.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend his funeral from the Ginley-Crowley Funeral Home, 3 Barber St., Medway on Thursday, July 14 at 9:15am followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:00am in St. Joseph Church, 151 Village St, Medway.
Calling hours will be held on Wednesday from 4:00 – 8:00 pm in the funeral home. Burial will be private.

In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made in his name to the American Legion Edward L. Grant Post 75, 43 Main Street, P.O. Box 42, Franklin, MA 02038.
