Irene M. Zdunko Dominick, 77, of Auburn, NH, died Saturday July 9, 2016, in the Elliot Hospital in Manchester, NH after a brief illness. She was born in Boston, MA on July 11, 1938, the daughter of the late Thomas and Marguerite (Marotta) Palladino. She was a 1956 graduate of Pinkerton Academy of Derry, NH. Irene loved many activities including gardening, sewing, needle work and cross stitch, as well as visiting Las Vegas and Foxwoods. Irene spent her working career as a waitress and bartender at the Longhorn Restaurant and Peking Restaurant in Derry. Her greatest love was for her family and she will keep a special place in the hearts of all who knew and loved her for her generosity and great sense of humor.
She is survived by two sons, Thomas F. Kimball and his wife Arline of Springville, UT and Michael A. Kimball and his wife Jean of Auburn; her daughter, Doris M. Kimball of Bolton, MA; nine grandchildren, Doria, Gaylord, Starr, Charlie, Francis, Tristan, Hope, Joy, and Alyssa; three great-grandchildren, Seamus, Liam, and Gracie. She was pre deceased by her beloved husband, Anthony Zdunko and her brother, Anthony Palladino.
Calling hours were held on Tuesday July 12, 2016 from 2pm to 5pm in the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 15 Birch Street, Derry. A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Wednesday at 10:00am in St. Thomas Aquinas Church, 26 Crystal Avenue, Derry. The burial followed in Forest Hill Cemetery, E. Derry Road, East Derry.
