Louise A. Conley
Devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother


TEWKSBURY: Louise A. (Victorine) Conley, age 84, a resident of Tewksbury for 58 years, passed away at home on Saturday, July 9, 2016.

She was the beloved wife of 60 years to Edward M. Conley, who passed away on April 8, 2016.

Born in Gloucester on June 12, 1932, she was the daughter of the late Ernest Victorine and the late Ruth (Lettman) Victorine.

Louise was raised in Gloucester, attended Gloucester schools and graduated from Gloucester High School in 1950. Following her marriage on April 22, 1956, she dedicated her life to raising her five children.
In later years, Louise worked as a payroll manager at the former Pierce Ford Auto Sales in Lowell, and the former Hallissy World of Cars in Tewksbury, until her retirement in 1988.

Louise and her late husband Ed were always together. They enjoyed many winters in Ormond Beach, FL and summer trips to Gloucester and Boothbay Harbor, as well as their many favorite destinations in Maine, Vermont and New Hampshire. In addition to travel, Louise loved family gatherings and was a devoted Red Sox fan.

Louise is survived by five children, Sandra J. Berube and her husband Robert, Cathy A. Devlin and her husband Michael all of Tewksbury, Edward M. Conley, Jr. and his wife Cheryl of Billerica, Linda S. Sullivan and her husband Joseph of Merrimack, NH, and David B. Conley and his wife Jean of Tewksbury; twelve grandchildren, Ryan and Rachel Berube, Michael and Patrick Devlin, Edward M. Conley, Nicole and Christopher Conley, John and Christine Sullivan, Jessica, Katelyne, and David Conley; two great grandchildren, Edward M. and Keera Conley; and her sister, Sharon Zumpfe and her husband Frank of Rochester, NH
Mrs. Conley was the grandmother of the late Bryan Devlin, and sister of the late Jean Brown.

Calling hours are Wednesday, July 13 from 4-8 p.m. at the Farmer & Dee Funeral Home, 16 Lee St., Tewksbury. Her funeral will be held Thursday, July 14 at 11:30 a.m. from the funeral home, followed by her Funeral Mass at 12:30 p.m., at St. William’s Church, 1351 Main St., Rte. 38, Tewksbury. Interment at St. Mary Cemetery, Tewksbury. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the Center for Cancer Care, 620 Washington St., Winchester, MA 01890 or to VNA of Middlesex East, 607 North Ave., Wakefield, MA 01880.
