Obituary

WAYLAND: Mitchell Evan Corliss, 24, died on Tuesday, July 5, 2016 due to complications from juvenile diabetes.
Mitchell was born in Fort Benning, Georgia on March 12, 1992 the beloved son of Louise C. (Walker) Corliss and William Scott Corliss.
He is survived by his mother Louise C. (Walker) Corliss and her companion Christopher King of Concord and his father Lieutenant Colonel Scott Corliss and his wife Renee Corliss of Hill Air Force Base, Layton, Utah. He was the brother of Kevin A. Corliss of Key West, Florida. He was the grandson of Paulette (Cutler) Corliss of Raymond, Maine and nephew of Edmund Walker of Peterborough, New Hampshire, Karen Walker and her husband Earl James of Santa Fe, New Mexico, Michael Corliss and his wife Barbara of Gorham, Maine and Jill Walker of Framingham.
Mitchell spent most of his life in Wayland and attended the Wayland schools. He was working toward his Emergency Medical Technician certification and was enrolled in Massachusetts Bay Community College for the fall of 2016.
He loved to spend time working on automobiles, especially repairing and restoring jeeps with his father. Mitchell was an animal lover and had many cherished pets over the years that brought him great happiness. He was a loyal friend, proud brother to Kevin and loving and devoted son. Mitchell will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, July 11, 2016 at 1:00 pm at the John C. Bryant Funeral Home, 56 Pemberton Road (Off Rte 30) Wayland.
Interment in Linwood Cemetery in Weston will be private for his family.
