Mary P. (Storm) Beebe, 60, passed away on Wednesday, July 6, 2016 at New London Rehabilitation and Care in Waterford.
She was born on October 5, 1955 in Groton, the daughter of Alberta A. Storm and the late Eddie L. Storm. She was married to Bruce Beebe who predeceased her in 1987.
She worked for many years at Ledyard High School and was affectionately known as "the Bagel Lady." She also worked as a cashier at Dominos Pizza in New London. She was a member of the Old Mystic Fire Department Women's Auxiliary. Mary was an extremely talented artist and had a portfolio filled with original drawings and watercolors.
In addition to her mother, Mary is survived by her two children, Heather Primrose of Greensboro, North Carolina and Brian Beebe of Worcester, Massachusetts. She is also survived by her brothers Tim Storm of Pawcatuck and Mark Storm of Bedford, Rhode Island.
Besides her husband and father, she is predeceased by her mother and father-in-law, Marjorie and Cliff Beebe.
Mary's family will greet relatives and friends on Thursday, July 14, 2016, from 11:00am to 1:00pm at the Dinoto Funeral Home, 17 Pearl Street, Mystic. A Funeral Service will be conducted at 1:00pm at the funeral home with burial immediately following in Elm Grove Cemetery, Mystic.
