Edward S. Munroe, 62, of Carver, MA and Sebastian, FL, passed away on July 6th after standing up to cancer for over 2 years.
Eddie was born and raised in Brockton, MA son of William Jr. and Olive Munroe. He leaves behind his wife of 29 years, Ann (Sweeney).
Ed was a truck driver with Mutual Oil for many years. A skilled craftsman and mechanic who could build or fix anything. He was an avid sportsman who enjoyed hunting, fishing, boating and spending time with family and friends.
Eddie is survived by sons Brian and his wife Heather; Jeremy and his partner JP.

Siblings and their spouses, Doreen & Kenny, Millie & Steve, Francis, Walter & Lorraine, Gail & Steve, John & Donna, George, Cindy & Barry, Dot & Ed, Stephen & Heather.
Brother of the late William III, Paul and Frank Munroe.
Mother In-law Evelyn; Brother and sister in-laws Richie & Lynn, Maureen & Jim, Kathy & Dave, Sheila & Bondo, Patty & Chris and Michael & Janice.

He cherished his countless nieces & nephews who held a special place in his heart.

Services arranged by Shepherd Funeral Home, shepardfuneralhome.com. Prayer service will be held Sunday, July 17th, 1 p.m., at First Church in Pembroke, 105 Center St., Pembroke, MA. Immediately following will be a celebration of Eddie’s life at Brockton Enterprise Club from 2p.m. to 6 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting that donations be made to Sebastian Inlet State Park, Attn: Terri O’Toole, for a memorial bench in Eddie’s honor.
