David P. Chandler

TEWKSBURY: David P. Chandler, age 56, passed away unexpectedly at home on Tuesday, July 5, 2016.
Born in Lowell on November 24, 1959, he was the much loved son of Barbara L. (MacKay) Chandler, who survives him, of Tewksbury and James P. K. Chandler, who passed away on October 5, 1998.
Dave attended Tewksbury schools and Tewksbury Memorial High School.
He was employed for many years in the construction industry, most recently with the LeClaire Roofing Company of Tewksbury, where he worked for the last several years.
Dave enjoyed the companionship of his family and friends, trips to Plum Island and the beaches of Maine. In addition, he loved to cook and host dinner gatherings for family and friends.
In addition to his mother, Dave is survived by one sister, Deborah A. Regan and her husband Kevin of Pelham, NH; one brother, Mark K. Chandler and his wife Cheryl (Carter) of Tyngsboro; also many nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family members.
Calling hours are Sunday, July 10, from 3-7 p.m., at the Farmer & Dee Funeral Home, 16 Lee St., Tewksbury. Prayer services will be held Monday, July 11, at 10:30 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Tewksbury Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in David’s memory may be made to the American Heart Association, 20 Speen St., Framingham, MA 01701.
