Virginia Ruth (Sexton) Bennett 79, passed away Tuesday July 5, 2016 at Norton Hosparus . Born in Metcalf County, she was a homemaker and a member of the Rockford View United Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by her loving husband of 47 years Willie Davis Bennett. Survivors include her son Marty Bennett (Ann), grandchildren, Joshua Bennett, Jessica Springstube (Mark) and great-granddaughter Layla. Also surviving two sisters Maxine Bragg and Rothydell Bragg. Visitation will be 2 pm to 8 pm Thursday at Owen Funeral Home 5317 Dixie Hwy. Her service will be 11 am Friday Rockford View United Baptist Church 2513 Wilkerson Ave., with burial at Bragg Cemetery Adair County.
