Mr. George R. Clarke, 71 of Methuen died Sunday July 3rd 2016 at Lawrence General Hospital. Mr. Clarke was born in Lawrence and had been an area resident all his life. He served honorably during the Vietnam War as a Specialist 4 in the United States Army. Mr. Clarke was a member of the Social Naturalization Club (French Social) and the American Legion Post 122 in Methuen. He is the widower of Paula (Sullivan) Clarke and was survived by two sons: Raymond Clarke of Hooksett, NH and Bradford Clarke of Pelham, NH. Two sisters; Sharon Saunders and Carol Beauchesne and one brother; Richard Gaudet all of Methuen. one brother-in-law Wayne Saunders of Maryland. There are 3 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Family and friends are invited to call from 9:00 am to 11:00 am on Friday July 29th 2016 at Edgar J. Racicot Inc. Funeral Home, 1400 Broadway Rd., Dracut.
