Obituary

Laurence E. Wile, 75, of Bridgewater, MA, formerly of Plympton, Ma has passed away peacefully with his loved ones by his side on Friday, July 1, 2016.
Larry is survived by his loving wife of 49 years; Bonita A. (Nelson) Wile and their four children; Deanne L. Gummerus and her Husband John of Plant City, FL., Kellie A. Craig and her Husband Stephen of Middleboro, Laurence G. Wile and his wife Jamie of Plymouth, and Jerilyn Ballard and her Husband Glen of Hanson.
Larry was born to his late parents, Carlisle L. Wile and Marjorie V. (Smith) Richmond. He was the youngest of their three children; Valerie Foster of East Bridgewater, and Irene Savard of Pauma Valley California. He has several nieces and nephews and cousins.
Larry was raised in East Bridgewater and a graduate of the East Bridgewater High School; Class of 1959. His career was that of a Well Driller; which was a trade he adopted from his late father Carl. He was employed in in younger years for the Chapman Company before venturing out on his own self-employment as L. Wile & Son Well Drilling Co. Was also member and a past president of the Upland Sportsmen’s Club of Plympton, and a member of the East Bridgewater Commercial Club, and of the Local 4 Union. He enjoyed watching the NASCAR races as well as watching the History Channel and old Western’s on his TV in his Garage/Barn as well as spending time with his family and friends.
He has 12 Grandchildren who lovingly called him “PAPA”; Casey L. (Fuller) Ferguson, Lyndsey A. Fuller, W. Thomas H. Fuller Jr., Christopher L. Wile-Craig, Stephen Bradford Craig, Jessica L. Craig, Ashley M. Craig, Noah L. Wile, William L. Wile, Allyson L. (Corbeels) Rollins, Zachary W. Ballard, and Ryan C. Ballard.
His Great-Grandchildren are; Jayden P. Gauley, Rylee E. Ferguson, Joshua S. Craig.
Calling hours – Celebration of Life; will be held on Wednesday, July 13, 2016 from 5 – 9pm at the Upland Sportsmen’s Club, 76 Upland Road, Plympton, MA 02367. Interment will be private.
