Funeral services for Norma Jean Thompson, 67, of Baldwin, Florida will be held at 10:00 AM, Wednesday, July 20, 2005 at Baldwin Assembly of God in Baldwin, Florida with Pastor Bert Hudson officiating. Interment will be held at 3:00 PM, Wednesday, at Evergreen Cemetery in Fitzgerald, Georgia. The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM, Tuesday evening in the chapel of Prestwood Funeral Home in Baldwin, Florida.
Mrs. Thompson was born May 28, 1938 to the late Jimmy Burch and Ola Frances Ball Peacock.
Survivors include: her husband of 52 years: Hoover Albert Thompson; one daughter: Rene (David) Brooks; one son: Michael (Patricia) Thompson; four grandsons: Erik Thompson, Nathan Thompson, Michael Kimpland, and Adam Thompson; three granddaughters: Allison (Richard) Williams, Andrea Thompson, and Rachel (Allen) Smail; a brother: Max Peacock; a sister: Glendell Peacock; and five great-grandchildren.
