Plympton- Clifford “Cliff” Pierce Jordan, Sr. a strong minded, unique and fun loving individual who passed on July 1st. Cliff was born in Dedham, March 30, 1930 to the Frank and Bessie Jordan.
Cliff was the cherished husband and best friend of the Ann “Shirley” (Beaton) Jordan, married for 55 years. They shared their life at “The Barn” a farm house which Cliff single handedly restored.
Devoted father of Donna Jordan Mihos married to John Mihos of Kingston, pre-deceased by his son Clifford Jordan, Jr.. Brother of Frank, Jr., Althea, Phyllis, Alice and Barbara, caring grandfather to Amanda Regan and Jonathan Mihos, great grandfather to Jordan, Alden and Princess Aria, also his daughter-in-law Jean Jordan of East Bridgewater and his former daughter-in-law Lynne Florindo and a dear family friend Kevin Kelley.
Cliff worked at Anderson Manufacturing, Halliday Lithographs and owned a retail business prior to his retirement. He proudly served in the navy in Norfolk, Virginia and traveled extensively. He was also an Honorary Board member of the A.L.S. Family Charitable Foundation, Inc.
Cliff and Shirley enjoyed traveling especially to Myrtle Beach, going to the casino and simply being together, he also enjoyed antique cars and was a history buff.
Celebrate Cliff’s life on July 9th at 10:00AM in the St Joseph Parish, 272 Main St, Kingston, MA 02364.Burial will be at a later date in the MA National Cemetery, Bourne, MA
