Obituary

Frank W Brown passed away peacefully at the Life Care Center of Stoneham. He was 88. Born in East Boston, he was the son of the late Frank W. and Grace (Larsen) Brown. Raised in Medford, Frank served in the Army during the Korean War. Upon his honorable discharge, Frank worked in the real estate and insurance business. He then began a 32 year career with the Middlesex Sheriff’s Office. He became Superintendent of the Cambridge Jail, a position he held until his retirement. He was a devoted husband and father who was especially proud of his grandchildren.

The beloved husband of Roberta (Previte) Brown, he was the devoted father of Karen Brown Cain of Concord, Frank W. Brown III and his wife Rhonda of Stoneham, and the late Steven A. Brown and his surviving wife Sharen of Medford. He was a loving grandfather to Jack, Alex, Jonathan, Sam and his wife Nicole, Sawyer and Sarah. Frank also leaves many nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend visiting hours at the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St. Medford, Tuesday 4 – 8 PM. A funeral service will be celebrated in Grace Episcopal Church, 160 High St., Medford, on Wednesday July 6th at 11 AM. Relatives and friends are also respectfully invited to attend. Burial will be private.

In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in Frank’s name to the Disabled American Veterans Memorial Program, P.O. Box 14301, Cincinnati, OH 45250-0301.
