Ernest J. Hatfield, 64, a lifelong resident of Lawrence, MA, passed away on Thursday, June 30, 2016 at the Boston Medical Center.
Born in Lawrence, Ernest was educated in the Lawrence Schools and was a graduate of Lawrence High School. He had served in the United States Navy and had worked at Lucent Technologies for some 18 years. Ernest had a great love for his nieces and nephews who were a big part of his life.
Members of Ernest’s family include his mother Ellen F. (Morrissey) Hatfield and her best friend Duane Sawtelle, his father Ernest R. Hatfield, his siblings: Richard J. Hatfield, Jeanne Sandner and her husband Robert, Kelly Paradis and her husband Richard, Kim Swarbrick and her husband Thomas, and Charlene Nutter. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
