John A. Rogers age 88 of Brockton, formerly of Quincy, Weymouth and Ocala, FL passed away June 30th at the Brockton Hospital. Born and raised in Quincy, he graduated from Quincy High School and Coyne Electrical and Technical School and served in the Coast Guard and Navy during WW II. John worked for many years as the Plant Engineer for Factory Mutual Global retiring in 1990. He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting and clamming on Cape Cod. Beloved husband of the late Marion E. (Lowry). Father of William M. Rogers and his wife Chawiwan of Brockton. Brother of the late Rose Butterworth and Murdock Rogers. Funeral services private.
