Obituary

Robert L. Poleet Jr., 39 of Brockton passed away suddenly on June 22, 2016 at his residence. Bobby was born on December 2, 1976 in Boston. He received is GED and other Certificates at Job Corp in Maine. Bobby’s favorite pastime was art and drawing. Bobby loved to to watch and talk about sports, he had a passion for his favorite teams: N.E. Patriots, Boston Bruins, Red Sox, and favorite of all Boston Celtics.

Bobby his survived by his father Robert L. Poleet Sr. and his wife Pam; his mother Debra A. Salisbury Poleet and her husband Nick; his daughter Nakayla Simmons and her mother Lydia; his brother and only sibling Daniel P. Poleet; also former step-mother Paula and her two daughters Jennifer and Melissa; his aunts and uncles Paul and Gail Salisbury, the late James Salisbury Jr. and his wife Sandy, Irene and Paul Dendorfer, Donna and the late Darwin Morse, Barbara and George Grant, the late Linda Hummel Poleet, Diane Poleet Perry, Gerald Poleet Jr., and Louis Poleet; his nieces and nephews Devante and Dante Greaves, Bella Carter, and Brynlee Poleet; he also leaves many cousins, great-aunts and uncles, and friends. He was the grandson of the late James E. Salisbury and Irene M. Cherry Salisbury, and Gerald Poleet and Helen Poleet.

Visiting hours will be held at the P.E. Murray-F.J. Higgins, George F. Doherty & Sons Funeral Home, 2000 Centre St., West Roxbury on Saturday, July 2 from 11:00am - 2:00pm followed by a reception at The Moose Lodge, 79 Lower East St., Dedham. Family and friends are kindly invited. Interment services are private.
