Paul Drake, 87, of Fitzgerald, Georgia, died Thursday, June 30, 2016, at Pruitt Health of Fitzgerald, Georgia.
Private memorials services will be held at a later date.
Mr. Drake was born August 12, 1928, in Lorida, Florida, to the late Manson Benjamin Drake & Edith Lynn Rice Drake. Mr. Drake served his country honorably in the United States Army. He was a mechanic and truck driver and he also loved to fish. Mr. Drake was a member of the Church of the Brethren of Lorida, Florida.
He is survived by his wife of 54 years: Eula Mae Drake of Fitzgerald; children: Tommy & Judy Drake of Florida, Donna Plachek of Jacksonville, Florida, Paula Drake of Sebring, Florida and Judy Lavender of Fitzgerald. Several grandchildren and great-grandchildren also survive. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three sons: Michael Drake, Cecil Teague and Roger Teague and a sister: Ruth Lynn.
