Andrew J. “Drew” Silva, 59, formerly of Sandown, NH passed away Monday, June 27, 2016 at the West Shore Hospital in Mechanicsburg, PA following a period of declining health. Drew was born on February 21, 1957 in Rapid City, SD, a son of Dr. Jose L. and the late Eleanor (Kuwaski) Silva. Drew was a proud member of the NH Libertarian Party. He was a frequent guest lecturer on the subject of Free Market and Austrian Economics. He enjoyed horror, sci-fi, fantasy, and fiction films. Drew was an avid player of Dungeons and Dragons as well as dungeon master.
He is survived by his father Dr. Jose L. Silva of North Chesterfield, VA, two brothers John Silva and wife Carole of Methuen, MA and Christopher Silva and wife Grace of Carlisle, PA, his nieces and nephews, Janet Rose and Joseph James Silva of Methuen, MA, Amanda Silva of Carlisle, PA, and Andrew Jenness of Aberdeen, MD, his best friend Brian Campbell of Richmond, VA as well as friends too numerous to name.
Calling hours were held on Tuesday, July 5, 2016 from 10-11:30am in the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 15 Birch Street, Derry. A graveside service was held at 12:00pm in the West Hampstead Cemetery, off Main Street, West Hampstead.
