RAYNHAM - Ann Marie (Parlow) Ventura of Raynham, died at age 81 on June 28, 2016.
She passed peacefully, surrounded by loving family members, after a prolonged, valiant struggle with lung disease.
Ann was the beloved mother of Dr. Lorri Ventura of Mansfield and Frank G. Ventura, Jr. of Lakeville, and the widow of the late Frank G. Ventura, Sr.
She was the cherished grandmother of Erin Phares, Maura Ogurek, and Ryan, Derek, and Rebecca Ventura. Daughter of the late G. Everett Parlow and Katherine McGinn Parlow, Ann grew up in Whittenton, graduating from St. Mary's High School.
She previously was employed at Reed & Barton and at the Taunton Area Early Intervention Program, but her delight was in being a devoted mother and grandmother.
Known as a skilled seamstress, Ann often designed and made one-of-a-kind clothing and costumes for her grandchildren.
She also was known by her family and friends for her delicious homemade baked goods, her love of Irish music, her ability to breeze through the New York Times crossword puzzles, and her singing talent.
In addition to her family, she leaves behind many treasured friends.
Her funeral will be held from the Silva Funeral Home, 80 Broadway, Taunton on Tuesday, July 5th at 9 a.m., followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Ann Church in Raynham at 11 a.m.

Burial will be at St. Joseph Cemetery.
