Esther Emilia Cruz, age 74, of Hyde Park, formerly of Ponce, Puerto Rico, on June 27, 2016. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her visiting hours and funeral services at the Brady & Fallon Funeral Home 10 Tower St. (Opp. Forest Hills MBTA Station) Jamaica Plain on Wednesday June 29 from 10 AM until 12 Noon. Her interment will then take place at Oak Lawn Cemetery, Roslindale. Esther Cruz moved from New York to Boston in 1977. Soon thereafter she became a foster mom. Each and everyone one of the children that was placed in her care she took in she regarded as her own. Five of which she and her husband (Papo) adopted adding to her three biological children. Esther was taken unexpectedly , and Although we will miss her dearly ,we are relieved at the fact that Esther will be laid to rest next to her beloved husband Ramon (Papo). Teté and Papo will be joined once again , in peace for all of eternity.
