Ginger M. (Emery) Tetreault, 65, of Acushnet passed away peacefully in her sleep on Sunday June 26, 2016 after a battle with cancer. She was the wife of Theodore C. Tetreault.
Born in Rockland, Maine, the daughter of the late Beatrice (Ashcroft) Andrade and Chester Emery, she was raised in Fairhaven and lived in New Bedford and Acushnet for many years.
Ginger was an active member of the East Freetown Congregational-Christian Church.
She was a graduate of New Bedford Vocational High School.
Survivors include her husband; two daughters, Jessica M. Tetreault of Pawtucket, RI and Rachel M. Botelho of Acushnet; two stepsons, Theodore E. Tetreault of Las Vegas, NV and Robert H. Tetreault of Tampa, FL; her brother, Myron Hastings of Nashua, NH; her stepfather, Robert Andrade of New Bedford; her stepbrother, Jeffrey Andrade of Odenton, MD; many grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Her Funeral Service will be held on Friday at 10 AM at the East Freetown Congregational-Christian Church, 4 Washburn Rd., East Freetown. Burial will follow in Riverside Cemetery, Fairhaven. Visiting hours will be on Thursday from 5-8 PM at the Saunders-Dwyer Home for Funerals, 495 Park St., New Bedford. In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to the charity of one's choice.
