John A. DiZoglio, age 96 of Methuen, passed away peacefully on June 27, 2016 at his late residence. John was born in Lawrence on January 27, 1920 to the late Angelo and Providence (Caraballo) DiZoglio. Mr. DiZoglio was the former owner and operator of DiZoglio Painting. He loved to follow his favorite sports teams; Boston Red Sox, and the New England Patriots. John also enjoyed watching classic western movies and NASCAR races. John and his wife Eleanor regularly wintered in Hallandale, FL.
John was the beloved husband of the late Eleanor (Ward) DiZoglio with whom he shared 53 wonderful years of marriage. He was the devoted father of John DiZoglio Jr. and his wife Angela of Methuen, James DiZoglio and his wife Svetlana of NC, Christine DiZoglio of Methuen, Caroline Rossi and her husband Martin of Methuen, Matthew DiZoglio and his wife Lisa of Wilmington, Julie Holmes and her husband Derek of Methuen. Mr. DiZoglio was the dear brother of Joseph DiZoglio and his wife Helen of Peabody, the late Louis DiZoglio, the late Rosario “Ray” DiZoglio, the late Angelina DeCorpo, and the late Alfred DiZoglio and his surviving wife Lucille. John was the loving grandfather of Diana DiZoglio, John DiZoglio III, Eleana DiZoglio, Michael Rossi, Jessica DiZoglio, Ian Rossi, Matthew DiZoglio Jr., Antonia DiZoglio, Roman DiZoglio, Anthony DiZoglio, and Benjamin Holmes. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews.
