Theresa (Russo) DeCologero of Somerville died on Sunday, June 26, at Kindred Hospital of Peabody. A lifelong Somerville resident, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Elizabeth (Donadea) Russo.
Theresa was the beloved wife of the late Anthony DeCologero, and the devoted mother of William DeCologero and his wife Lidia of Salem, NH, Joseph DeCologero and his wife Toni of Florida, Anthony DeCologero and his wife Gael of Haverhill, David DeCologero and his wife Patrizia of Reading, Teresa Plati and her husband Gregory of Peabody, and Christina Julian and her husband Kevin of Lynnfield. She is also survived by 14 loving grandchildren and 8 loving great grandchildren. Theresa was predeceased by her brother John Russo.
Funeral from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford on Friday, July 1, at 9 AM followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Ann Church, 399 Medford St., Somerville, at 10 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Thursday, June 30, from 4 through 8 PM. Services will conclude with burial at St. Michael Cemetery, Boston.
