Hudson, MA
Maria P. (Lopes) Lourenco, 66, of Hudson, died on Sunday, June 19th at Marlboro Hospital.
She leaves her two children, Samuel Lourenco and his wife Melissa of Chelmsford, Martina Raymond and her husband Steve of Blackstone along with her two grandchildren, Nolan and Mia Lourenco. She is also survived by her former husband, Jacinto F. Lourenco of Portugal and her siblings, Victor Lopes, Idalina Tinta and Manuel Lopes.
Maria was born and raised in Lisbon, Portugal, daughter of the late Antonio and Maria (Pereira) Lopes. She was a longtime resident of Hudson and was employed by the Hudson Lock Company for many years until retiring. She was a member of Saint Michael’s Parish in Hudson.
Family and friends may attend a calling hour on Wednesday, June 29th from 8:00 to 8:45 a.m. at the Tighe-Hamilton Funeral Home, Inc. 50 Central Street, Hudson, MA 01749 (www.tighehamilton.com) followed by a funeral mass on Wednesday, June 29th at 9:00 a.m. in Saint Michael’s Church, 21 Manning Street, Hudson. Burial services will follow in Saint Michael’s Cemetery, Hudson.
