Sanbornton-----Laura “Lori “ L. Steadman, 54, of Mountain Road died Thursday, June 23, 2016 at Concord Hospital with her loving wife by her side.
Lori was born January 13, 1962 in Wolfeboro, NH, daughter to the late Kenton and Loretta (Bilodeau) Steadman. Lori was a graduate of Kingswood Regional High School where she was recognized for her many athletic achievements in field hockey, basketball and her absolute favorite, softball. Lori was loved and respected for her sportsmanship as she continued playing softball in the Lakes Region area for many years. Above all, she adored spending time with her nieces and nephews when they were younger, especially taking them on camping trips. Most recently, she loved to spend time with her great niece. Lori enjoyed gardening, fishing, dancing, traveling and golfing. She loved playing on the Watts Regulator league Tuesday evenings at Den Brae. Lori was an EMT and was a volunteer at the Sanbornton Fire Department until 2015. Lori was employed at LRGHealthcare for last 10 years, where she was a valued employee, known for her passion and caring for those she worked with and around.
Lori is survived by her loving wife of 15 years, Cherie Braley of Sanbornton, her sister, Linda Eldridge and her husband, Tony of Tamworth; her brother, Steve Steadman and his wife, Dawn of Wolfeboro; three nephews, Kenny, Gary and TJ; two nieces, Sasha and Asia; a great niece, Addison and two furry companions, her dogs, Samson and Brandy. In addition to her parents she is predeceased by her brother Richard "Ricky" Steadman.
There will be no calling hours.
A celebration of Lori’s life will be held on July 10, 2016, at 11 am, at the family home, 293 Mountain Road, Sanbornton, NH 03269.
