Doris E. Dion, age 73 of Methuen passed away on Saturday, June 25, 2016 after a short illness at the Wingate of Haverhill. Doris was born on January 14, 1943, she was the daughter of Leonel and Lillian (Lajoie) Dion of Lawrence. She was a graduate of Methuen High School and upon graduation she went to work at Western Electric where she remained employed until her retirement.
Doris is survived by her long-time companion, Joan C. Ladd of Haverhill; sister Joan Mercer of Methuen; niece Ellen Sparrow and her husband Edwin of Shirley; grand-nephew Ted Sparrow and his wife Michelle also of Shirley. Doris is also survived by her aunts Stella Lemieux of Methuen, Evelyn Lahey of TX and many cousins.
