Anita Shephard age 89 of Dedham, formerly of Canton passed away June 26th surrounded by her loving family at Brookdale Assisted Living in Dedham. Born and raised in Framingham, she graduated from Framingham High School. She worked as a Buyer for Computer Indentics in Canton for many years before retiring. Anita was an active member of St. John the Evangelist Church in Canton where she was a Eucharistic Minister and a member of the prayer group. She enjoyed walking, reading and spending time at the Cape Cod Canal watching the boats pass through. Beloved wife of the late Henry G. Mother of Eleanor A. Johnson and her husband Chris of Norton, Barbara J. Sisto and her husband Tom of Norton, Walter A. Shephard of Essex, CT and Elizabeth F. Simpson and her husband Gary of Long Beach, CA. Sister of the late Vilma Chasse, Norma Colona and Richard Macrelli. Also survived by 8 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. Relatives and friends invited to attend a funeral mass at St. John the Evangelist Church Canton Thursday morning at 10:30. Visiting hours at the Dockray & Thomas Funeral Home 455 Washington St. Canton Thursday morning prior to the mass from 8:30 to 10:00 am. Burial Knollwood Memorial Park, Canton.
