Connor & Paul K. “Pete” Connor and his wife Georgeanne Connor all of Winthrop. Brother of the late Paul C. Connor formerly of NH. Cherished grandfather of Haley, Richard and Paul Jr. Funeral from the Maurice W. Kirby Funeral Home, 210 Winthrop St., WINTHROP, on Thurs, June 30th., at 9am. A Funeral Mass will be held in St. John the Evangelist Church-Winthrop, at 10am. Relatives and friends are invited. Burial will follow in Winthrop Cemetery, Belle Isle section. Visiting hours will be held in the funeral home on Wed., June 29th, from 4-8pm. Kirby was a retired Middle School Teacher, for the City of Revere for 32 years and was a longtime member of the Massachusetts Teachers Association and a lifetime member of the Winthrop Lodge of Elks #1078 and a longtime member of the Winthrop Knights of Columbus Council #162 .
