Eleanor B. (Jenison) Fuller, age 97, of South Easton, died peacefully surrounded by her family, June 24, 2016 at Life Care Center of West Bridgewater. She was the wife for 41 years of the late Willard H. Fuller. Born in Brockton, she was the daughter of the late Charles O. and Ilene (Baker) Jenison. She was a graduate of Brockton High School, class of 1936 and Williams School of Business in Brockton. For many years, Eleanor worked as a receptionist for Dr. Ernest E. Wiesner in Brockton. She was a charter member of the Goddard Memorial Hospital Auxiliary and the Brockton Historical Society, on the board of the Wales Home, Family Services of Brockton, and a member of the Wednesday Fortnightly Club. She had been a member of Christ Congregational Church since 1940.
Eleanor is survived by her daughter Janet F. Hodnett of South Easton and cousins Meredith Leonard and Mr. and Mrs. Frederick A. Baker, Jr. She also leaves many close cousins, and was the cousin of the late Alton B. Davidson, Donald K. Davidson, Frederick “Del” Baker and Louise (Davidson) Goldstein.
Visitation will be held in Christ Congregational Church, 1350 Pleasant Street, Brockton, Wednesday, June 29 from 1-2pm, followed by a Funeral Service at 2pm. Burial will be at a later date in Melrose Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please consider donations in Eleanor’s name to Christ Congregational Church.
