Obituary

East Bridgewater – Hans H. Giesler 71, a resident of East Bridgewater for over 34 years, died Friday June 24 after a long illness. He was the beloved husband of forty-eight years to Susan (Hanrahan) Giesler.

Born in Germany Hans had moved to the United States in 1954 at the age of nine. He was raised in Randolph and was a graduate of Randolph High.

He had later continued his education attending Northeastern University.

He had been employed by the Polaroid Corporation for over thirty-two years before changing his career and serving for over eleven years as Bell Captain and Concierge, a job he truly loved, for the Hilton Hotel of Dedham.

He loved to travel and he and his wife Susan had enjoyed countless trips visiting several countries around the world. He had a true appreciation of “fine Scotch and quality cigars” but his greatest joy was his family.
