Lois Rita Hamilton passed away peacefully at the Courtyard Nursing Center of Medford. She was 90 The Daughter of the late Michael and Minnie (Butters) Cunningham, she was raised in Somerville and lived in Medford for most of her life. Lois was a retired long-time employee of Jordan Marsh Co., Boston and a long-time volunteer at the Lawrence Memorial Hospital of Medford.
The beloved wife and best friend of the late Ralph L. “Hammy” Hamilton, she was a devoted mother to Jon Hamilton and his wife Mary of North Attleboro and Laurel Faucette and her husband Bob of Saco, ME. She leaves four loving grandchildren and five loving great-grandchildren. The sister of the late Robert and Frank Cunningham, she leaves many nieces and nephews, especially Dale Hamilton and Carol Cunningham.
At Lois’ request services are private. The family will announce a memorial gathering at a later date. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in Lois’ name to the Krystle Campbell Memorial Park Fund, PO Box 87, Medford, MA 02155.
