Francisco Gerald "G.G." was born on September 11, 1964 in Belize, Central America to the late Francisco & Rosita Moro. G.G. as he was fondly called attended St. Ignatius Primary School and Excelsior High School. As a yoing man, G.G. loved to go swimming, roller skating, skate boarding, and all sorts of fun things much to the dismay of his parents.
At the age of 16, GG came to Boston where he pursued his love of music and spent many years spinning music at several local clubs and became a well respected D.J. in the Reggae community.
GG also had a passion for cooking something he loved to do. He would cook for friends, family and at several local restaurants. GG was well liked and well respected by all who encountered him and will be missed by many more.
GG was predeceased in death by his parents Francisco & Rosita Moro. His brother Barrington Moro.
GG is survived by his seven children Arielle, Chyna, Francisco Jr., Julien, Kelly, Schantelle, and Tatiana, his siblings Zelma, (Daryl), Elvis, Mark (Natalie), Ken and Therese; "sister-cousins" Bernadine, Karen, and Sharette who considered more of sisters than cousins; and his grandchildren, Aaron, Brielle, Jesiah, Kamari, and Kylie.
GG also leaves a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, relatives and friends. He will be missed by all.
Funeral on Friday June 24, 2016 at 10 AM from the Joseph Russo Funeral Home, 814 American Legion Highway (near Cummins Highway) Roslindale followed by his funeral service at 11 AM. Relatives and Friends are invited to attend.
