Obituary

Michael Aiello, of Everett, formerly of Boston’s North End, died at his home, Sunday, in the company of a loving family. He was 73.


The son of the late Leonardo and the late Catherine (Orlando) Aiello, Michael was born and raised in the North End and lived there untill moving to Everett with his family 20 years ago. During the Korean War, he served in combat with the US Army. Michael was a graduate of Bently College and became a CPA. He enjoyed a 30 year career as an accountant for Action for Boston Community Development. He was also a member of the Roman A.C. in the North End.


He was the devoted brother of Salvatore Aiello and his wife Josephine of Everett, John Aiello and his wife Jane of Quincy, William Aiello and his companion Lynn of Framingham, Leonard Aiello and his wife Roberta of Missouri, Roseann Cresey and her husband David of Everett. Michael was also a loving uncle to many nieces and nephews.


Relatives and friends may call Wednesday from 4 thru 8 at the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford. A Funeral Mass will be offered at Our Lady Of Grace Church, 194 Nichols Street, Chelsea, Thursday at 11:00 am. Services will conclude with burial at St. Michael Cemetery, Roslindale.


In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in Michael’s name to Hallmark Health Hospice, 100 Hospital Rd., Malden, MA 02148.
