Laconia-----Victor aka "Helmet Head" Thompson, 47, of Gilford Avenue died of a sudden illness on Wednesday, June 15, 2016 at Lakes Region General Hospital.
Victor was born on September 11, 1968 in Lowell, MA the son of Frederick and Gladys (Perkins) Thompson. Victor has lived in Laconia for over 20 years.
Victor loved the New England Patriots. He was a member of the Laconia Rod & Gun Club. Victor loved all his family and friends.
Survivors include his father, Frederick Thompson and his wife, Ginny, of FL; two sons, Matthew Everett, of FL and Christopher Dupont, of ME; three daughters, Rebecca Thompson, of Laconia, Cassandra Thompson, of MA and Stephanie Thompson of ME; several grandchildren; 4 step children, Angela Perkins, Melissa Perkins, Roger Perkins and Matt Perkins; a brother, Frederick "Skully" Sanborn Sr., and his wife, Selina, of Laconia; two sisters, Rosie Thompson,of Nashua and Nancy Thellen, of Laconia; 2 step sisters, Michelle Kemling and Ann Flores and several nephews and nieces. In addition to his mother he was predeceased by his wife, Barbara Thompson, a step son Steven Perkins and his brothers, John Sanborn, Richie and George Thompson.
There will be no calling hours or funeral service.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, July 2, 2016 from 6:00pm - 8:00pm at the Laconia Rod & Gun Club,358 S. Main Street, Laconia NH 03246.
