Grace (Palmarazzo) Gervino, a resident of Stoneham and a former 65 year resident of Charlestown and of the North End. Entered into eternal life on Thursday, June 23, 2016 in her home in Stoneham. She was 89 years old.
Grace was born in Malden on March 5, 1927, a daughter of the late Guiseppe Palmarazzo and Mary (DeVico) Palmarazzo. She grew up in the North End where she was educated in the Boston Public School system. Grace worked as a seamstress for a stitching manufacturing company for 42 years until her retirement. Grace was an active member of the Golden Age Center in Charlestown, she loved bingo, enjoyed scratch tickets, and traveling to Foxwoods. Grace cherished her family above all else.
Grace is the beloved wife of the late Joseph Gervino. She is the devoted mother of Michael Gervino and his wife Heidi of Salem, NH., Rocco Gervino and his wife Nancy of Hampstead, NH, and Mary Gervino and her husband Jim Keogh of Melrose. She is the loving Grandma to Jared, Bryce, Joseph, Amy, Ryan, Michael, and her great-grandchildren Cadence, Riley, Evylynne, River, and Jackson. She is the beloved sister of Joseph Palmarazzo Jr. of Las Vegas, NV & the late Frances McBrayer & Nicholas Palmarazzo. She is also lovingly survived by many nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend Grace's Funeral on Tuesday, June 28, 2016 at 10 AM. from The Carr Funeral Home 220 Bunker Hill St. CHARLESTOWN followed by her Funeral Mass in St. Francis De Sales Church, 313 Bunker Hill St. Charlestown at 11 AM. Her burial will be private. Visiting hours will be on Monday, June 27, 2016 from 4 - 8 PM. in the funeral home.
