JUPITER, FL: Constantine D. “Costa” Tseklenis, 90, died peacefully and comfortably surrounded by his loving family at his residence in Jupiter, FL on Monday, June 20, 2016 following a period of declining health.
He was born in Pyrgos, Greece on December 24, 1925 the son of the late Denis Tseklenis and Frances (Silberstein) Tseklenis.
Costa is survived by his loving and devoted wife Dorothy (Galanopoulos) Tseklenis of Jupiter, FL formerly of Framingham and Boca Raton, FL. He was the beloved father of Pamela Tseklenis Fitzer and her husband Peter M. Fitzer, MD. of Jupiter, FL and the late Denis Tseklenis. Brother of Harold Tseklenis of Downey, CA and Emmanuel Denis of Honolulu, HI. Also survived by two grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Costa came to the United States as a young man and had been a longtime resident of Framingham before retiring to Boca Raton, FL and for the past two years he and his wife Dorothy have resided in Jupiter, FL to be closer to family.
Costa was a hard working and very dedicated and loving man to his family. He was the owner for many years of Back Bay Transmission in Brookline. While residing on Framingham, he was a devout member of Saint Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church in Weston and when he retired to Florida was an active member of St. Mark’s Greek Orthodox Church in Boca Raton, FL. Costa was a man of very humble beginnings and devoted his entire life to the happiness of his family who was the center of his life. He will be greatly missed by all the lives that he touched.
Visitations will be held from 10:30 until 11:30 am on Tuesday, June 28, 2016 followed by his funeral service at 11:30 am at the John C. Bryant Funeral Home, 56 Pemberton Road (Off Rte 30), Wayland.
Interment will follow in the Tseklenis family lot in Lakeview Cemetery in Wayland.
