Jasper Wilbert Black, of Hanson, passed away peacefully on June 22nd, following a period of failing health. He was 91 years old. He was the beloved husband of Pauline G. (Powell) Black for over 70 years. They were married on June 23, 1944.
In addition to his wife Pauline, Jasper is survived by his children, Dian L. Black of Palm Beach Gardens, Fl. and N. Falmouth, MA and Brian E. Black of W. Palm Beach, Fl. He has one surviving sibling, Kathleen (Black) Hansen of Pickering, Ontario, Canada
His funeral service will be held on Monday June 27th at 10:00 AM in the Blanchard Funeral Chapel Plymouth St (Rte. 58 at the rotary circle) Whitman. Burial will follow in the Fern Hill Cemetery, Hanson. Visitation will be on Sunday June 26th from 2:00-4:00 PM.
