Alexander Z. Armstrong, Sr., 25, of Falcon Avenue, Warwick, died Sunday, June 19, 2016 at his home. He was the devoted husband of Melynda M. (Harpin) Armstrong.
Born in Mt Hope, NJ, he was a son of Michael D. Armstrong of Spring Branch, Texas and Kellie C. (Fredette) Armstrong of Providence. He had lived in Warwick for three years, and worked as a machinist for the Whittet-Higgins company.
Besides his wife and parents, he is survived by his son, Alexander Zachery Armstrong, Jr, his step-children, Jeremy Harpin, Arielle Harpin, Jeyson Olsson and Madissyn Olsson, as well as his brother, Craig Armstrong, his grandmother Jeanne Colaluca, his mother-in-law, Kathleen Harpin and his grandparents William Armstrong and Lou Kodituwakku. He is predeceased by his father-in-law, William Harpin.
His funeral will be held Saturday at 11:00 am in the Anderson-Winfield Funeral Home, Rt 44 at Greenville Common, Greenville. Burial will follow in Seekonk Cemetery, Newman Avenue, Seekonk.
