NEW BEDFORD… Todd E. Doyle, 21, of New Bedford passed away on June 13, 2016.
He was born in New Bedford a son of Kelly Prenda of Dartmouth and the late Todd E. Doyle and had lived in Dartmouth most of his life.
Todd enjoyed sports, outdoors and spending time with family and friends. He was loved dearly by many. In this time of loss, Todd donated his organs and gave hope to others through the gift of life. Five of his organs were successfully transplanted, Todd was truly an inspiration.
The family would like to take a moment to thank the nursing staff in the ICU at South Coast Hospital for helping during this tragedy. Also would like to thank the New England Organ Bank and the South Coast Funeral Home for all the preparations. Thank you to all for the amazing donations and support that the family received, it was beyond their expectations.
Survivors include his mother, his maternal grandmother Jennifer J. (Furtado) Prenda, a sister Aimee Lyn Goncalves of South Dartmouth, Godparents: Dale Atwood and Tammie Doyle, an Uncle, Aunts and many cousins, 2 nephews and a niece.
Service to which relatives and friends are invited will be held at the POTTER FUNERAL HOME, 81 Reed Rd., Westport at 4:45 P.M. on Friday. Calling hours will be Friday from 2 – 4:45 P.M.
