Hockett, Geneva (Lewis), 84, passed away June 15, 2016. She was born in Louisville, KY to Flossie (Macum) & James L. Lewis and was a homemaker. She is preceded in death by her husband, Corwin G. Hockett and her parents.
Survivors left to cherish her memory are her sons, David C. (Cindy) and Michael Douglas (Melinda) Hockett; seven grandchildren, Molly Hockett, Carrie Walls, Ami Callahan, Maggy Swann, Alan Pasel, and Doug and Sylvie Hockett; 13 great grandchildren; one great great grandson; one brother, Leon Lewis (Francis); and two sisters, Naomi Burden and Marilyn Giles (Mark).
Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 10:00 a.m. at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Highway with entombment in Louisville Memorial Gardens West.
Visitation will be Monday 12:00 – 8:00 p.m.
