Frank S. Medeiros, Jr., age 97, of Fall River, passed away at home on June 20, 2016 surrounded by his loving family. He was the beloved husband of the late Bella (Barboza) Medeiros. Born in Fall River, he was the son of the late Frank and Mary (Costa) Medeiros. Prior to retirement Frank was an Independent General Contractor for many years.
Frank leaves behind his 2 sons Richard J. Medeiros (wife Carol) of Fall River and Ronald F. Medeiros (wife Denise) of FL; siblings Antone Medeiros and Irene Correia, both of FL; 5 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren; as well as several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brothers Manuel, Edward, Joseph and August Medeiros and 2 sisters Mary Soares and Dorothy Medeiros.
His funeral will take place from the Manuel Rogers & Sons Funeral Home 1521 N. Main St. Fall River on Friday here at 9 A.M. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial Holy Trinity Church at 10 A.M. Interment in St. Patrick’s Cemetery. Calling hours on Thursday from 5-8 P.M. www.rogersfuneral.com.
