Roger W. Lecourt, 82, of Londonderry, NH, passed away Monday, June 6, 2016, at his home following a period of declining health. He was born on August 26, 1933 in Lowell, MA, a son of the late Donat and Irene (Doyan) Lecourt. He was a resident of Londonderry, NH for 20 years, formerly living for many years in Lowell. Roger enjoyed camping, fishing, water skiing and boating. He especially loved the time spent vacationing at Lake Winnipesauke and playing scat with his family.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 63 years, Margaret (Sullivan) Lecourt of Londonderry; two daughters, Linda Maine of Hudson, NH, and Susan Cote and husband Roland of Londonderry; two granddaughters, Sherry-Anne Ducharme and husband Michael of Pelham, NH, and Danielle Mague and husband Jeremy of Londonderry; four great grandchildren, Brittaney & Paige Ducharme and Ryan & Kaylee Mague, one brother, Norman Lecourt of Tyngsboro, MA, one sister, Vivian Kopycinski and husband Dick of Lowell, as well as many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by two granddaughters Renee and Nicole Cote.
Calling hours were held on Thursday, June 9, 2016 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM in the Peabody Funeral Homes of Londonderry, 290 Mammoth Rd., Londonderry, NH. A Liturgy of Christian burial was celebrated on Friday, June 10th at 10:30 am in St. Mark's Church, One South Road, Londonderry. The burial followed in Gibson Cemetery, Marsh Road, Pelham, NH.
