Helen Doiron, 76, of Londonderry, NH, passed away Saturday June 18, 2016, surrounded by her loving family, after a courageous battle with cancer. Helen was born on November 25, 1939, in Edinburgh, Scotland and was a daughter of the late Charles Manson and Helen (Renton) Manson, Mrs. Doiron was a military wife and lived in many locations around the world in support of her husband’s military career.
Helen was a homemaker who was very proud of her Scottish heritage and loved to visit Scotland. She retired at an early age and traveled extensively around the country with her husband. Helen enjoyed line dancing, but was happiest spending time with family and friends, especially her much cherished grandchildren. She was predeceased by her beloved husband of 46 years, Clifford E. Doiron in 2005, and by her brother, Neil Manson.
She is survived by two sons and their wives, Clifford N. and Michelle Doiron and Scott C. and Tammy Doiron; and her daughter, Cheryl H. Doiron; as well as her three grandchildren, Kristen, Emerson and Clifford R.
After cremation, an hour of visitation was held on, Wednesday, June 22, 2016 from 6 to 7 pm at the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 290 Mammoth Rd., Londonderry. A memorial service followed at 7 pm in the funeral home. The burial will be in the Veterans Cemetery of Bushnell, FL.
