Patricia R. Sateriale, 87, of Belmont and Provincetown, peacefully passed away Friday, June 17th in Provincetown, after a short illness. She was the beloved wife of Fred E. Sateriale, Jr.
Born in Reno and raised in Cambridge, she graduated from Cambridge Academy and earned an Associate’s Degree from Boston University. She worked in the hospitality business, at the Provincetown Holiday Inn and the Cape Inn Resorts, both owned by she and her husband.
Winters were spent in Deerfield Beach, FL and summers in Provincetown. In the off-season, she lived in Belmont. Her greatest pleasure however was spending time with her family. She especially enjoyed their time at the beach.
She was a member of the Belmont Women’s Club and St Peter the Apostle parish in Provincetown.
In addition to her husband of 60 years, she leaves a son, Fred E. Sateriale III and his wife Nancy, and a daughter, Suzanne Souza, all of North Truro. Two grandsons, Andrew Souza and his wife Carly and James A. Souza, as well as great grandsons James A. Souza, Jr. and Andrew T. Souza of all Eastham also survive her. She also leaves many nephews, nieces and cousins in the Boston area.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 AM, Thursday, June 23, 2016 at St Peter the Apostle Church, Prince Street, Provincetown. A private family burial will follow at St. Peters Cemetery.
