Donna Kolbeck
Augusta, GA – Donna Jean Belling Kolbeck, 68, surrounded by her family, passed away peacefully and entered into eternal rest on June 17, 2016.
She devoted her life to being a loving wife and mother, and was well known as a Piano Teacher. She leaves behind her constant companion of 50 years, her husband, Ralph, her daughter, Lisa Kolbeck Price (Duane), and her son, John Kolbeck. She also leaves two brothers, Lyle Belling (Dione) of Faribault, MN and Tom Belling (JoAnn) of Des Moines, IA, a sister-in-law, Jane Mapes of North Augusta, SC, and a brother-in-law, Robert Kolbeck of Wausau, WI. Many cousins, nephews, nieces, and friends will miss her. An avid dog lover, she leaves Jenny, her little Maltese companion of many years who will wonder where “Mommy” has gone and three grand-dogs, Grace, Stella Jane, and Prissy.
This little lady possessed a gentle spirit and was loved by all who knew her. She was a member of the Augusta Music Teachers Association and the Georgia Music Teachers Association. She taught hundreds of students the love of music.
Donna was a member of the Humane Society of the United States. Any who wish to honor her memory may make a donation to an animal society of their choice, or adopt a homeless pet.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
